Nazrin Balayeva and Nihat Hajiyev, recipients of scholarships under the State Program, have established the Azerbaijani Students Association at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
The organization aims to promote awareness of Azerbaijan’s culture, history and modern development, represent the country with distinction, and foster intercultural dialogue.
The Association serves as an open platform not only for Azerbaijani students but also for other members of the MIT community interested in Azerbaijan and the wider Caucasus region. It seeks to encourage communication and cooperation among students from diverse cultural backgrounds and create opportunities to participate in Azerbaijan-related initiatives at the university.
The Association also aims to bring Azerbaijani students together at MIT and help build a sustainable Azerbaijani community that will continue its activities in the years ahead.
