Approximately 20 paragliders who are members of Burdur Paragliding Sports Club opened the new season with suitable weather conditions. Paragliders jumped from Avşar Hill and landed on the shores of Burdur Lake.
Paragliding Burdur Sports Club President and Turkish Air Sports Federation Burdur Provincial Representative Fatih Kılıçaslan said, "We could not fly for a long time due to the winter season. Today, with the good weather, we opened the season with 25 of our friends and started flying. We are waiting for all parachutists to Burdur."
Stating that they will open a paragliding course if the demand reaches 10 people in the new period, Kılıçaslan said, "There is demand to open a course. We will open a course when the number is completed in the coming days. We will continue to develop paragliding in Burdur."
