The Ukrainian Interior Ministry announced that the attack was organised in the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. In the statement made by the Ministry, "Information about the victims as of 07.00 in Pokrovsk; 7 people lost their lives. 67 people were injured, including 29 police officers, 7 rescue workers and 2 children. At night, we had to suspend work due to the high threat of repeated shelling," the statement said.
The Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine reported that no one was trapped under the rubble.
