BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 1. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are bound by ties of friendship and brotherhood, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in his letter to President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the occasion of this country's Independence Day.
