Preparations finalised to extract US researcher from cave
Preparations have been completed for the rescue of Mark Dicky (40) from the USA, who became ill while exploring at a depth of 1040 metres in the Morca Cave in Mersin and started to be treated by doctors at the point where he was found. The rescue work, which also includes teams from Bulgaria, Italy, Croatia, Poland and Hungary, will be started according to Dicky's health condition. Officials of the Anatolian Speological Group Association said that the operation will be one of the most comprehensive cave rescue operations in the world.
