An event dedicated to Belgian King’s Day was held in Baku.
The ceremony began with the national anthems of both countries.
Belgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Julien de Fraipont underlined the significance of the occasion.
Noting that the Belgian Prime Minister’s visit to Baku last year marked an important stage in bilateral relations, the ambassador emphasized the expansion of cooperation in areas such as energy, logistics and construction.
Julien de Fraipont also praised the recent efforts related to relations with Armenia, and extended his congratulations to the Azerbaijani leadership.
The event continued with a cultural program.
