“Armenia is ready as of today to provide transit freight transportation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan through the Margara-Kornidzor route," said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech at a conference dedicated to security issues in Yerevan.
“I state these words because we are ready for this,” the Armenian Prime Minister noted.
Emphasizing that "The Trump route” will be managed by a company jointly established by Armenia and the United States, Nikol Pashinyan added: “Nevertheless, the decisive role in the company will belong to Armenia. The issue of leasing the 'Trump route' to U.S. for 49 or 99 years is under consideration. The lease term will depend on the amount of investment the U.S. makes to Armenia and the profitability of the project."
