The Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) has hosted a meeting with Chris Lo, Regional Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) for Europe, Central Asia and Israel.

AZPROMO Deputy Executive Director Tural Hajili briefed the delegation on the agency’s main areas of activity, export and investment promotion mechanisms, as well as measures to stimulate exports and promote the “Made in Azerbaijan” brand.

Chris Lo spoke about the activities of HKTDC, its role as a platform for mutual trade and investment, and its strategic importance in establishing international business relations. He invited Azerbaijan to participate in international exhibitions to be held in Hong Kong to further strengthen trade cooperation, and proposed organizing reciprocal investment missions and joint events.

The meeting also included discussions on cooperation prospects in metallurgy, data research, winemaking, the food industry, technology, logistics, and manufacturing.
