Third international conference discusses restoring intangible cultural heritage of Western Azerbaijanis

On December 5, the 3rd international conference on “Cultural Heritage and the Right of Return: Restoring the Cultural Heritage of Azerbaijanis Displaced from Armenia – as a Path to Justice, Reconciliation, and Peace”, organized by the Western Azerbaijan Community, featured another panel discussion.

Moderated by Jakub Korejba, member of the Center for Eurasian Studies, the third session focused on intangible cultural heritage, including ashug art, music, folklore, oral memory, and cultural traditions.

The speakers included Nadia Boyadjieva, Professor at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences; Ornela Ramašauskaitė, CEO of artXchange Global; Professor Moh’d Wahib Ali Hussein from the Hashemite University of Jordan; and Mikael Silkeberg, Swedish director.
