192 Azerbaijani soldiers killed in anti-terror operation in Karabakh
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Health announced that 192 Azerbaijani soldiers were martyred in the two-day anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh.
"As a result of the successful local anti-terrorist measures carried out by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 19-20 September 2023, the sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan was fully restored.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Health announced that 192 Azerbaijani soldiers were martyred in the two-day anti-terrorist operation in Karabakh.
"As a result of the successful local anti-terrorist measures carried out by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 19-20 September 2023, the sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan was fully restored.
192 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan were martyred during the local anti-terrorist measures. Of the martyred soldiers, 180 were members of the Ministry of Defence and 12 were members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. One of the martyrs is a civilian.
The identity of 11 people will be established after forensic genetic examinations by the Forensic Medicine Expertise. At the same time, 511 military personnel and 1 civilian were injured as a result of local anti-terrorist measures."
