“UN-Habitat's 2026-2029 strategy identifies housing as one of the key priorities in the global development agenda. This ambitious strategy aims to address the global housing crisis, as well as the challenges posed by poverty, inequality, climate change and various crises,” said Zhang Zhenshan, Senior Advisor to the UN-Habitat China Office, at the event " Buildings for the Future - Advancing the Climate-Housing Nexus through Digital Innovation” organized as part of WUF13.
He emphasized that the basic mission of the strategy is to expand access to adequate housing, land and basic services.
