US military aircraft crashed in the Mediterranean Sea: 5 soldiers lost their lives
US European Command (EUCOM) announced that 5 military personnel on board the US military aircraft, which crashed into the Mediterranean Sea on 10 November during routine refuelling in the air as part of military training, were killed. It was stated that an investigation was launched into the accident.

 EUCOM stated that the aircraft had an accident during a routine aerial refuelling mission as part of military training and that 5 military personnel on board lost their lives. Stating that the investigation into the accident is ongoing, EUCOM noted that search and rescue operations, including nearby US military aircraft and ships, were immediately initiated.

US DEFENCE MINISTER: TRAINING ACCIDENT

"We mourn the tragic loss of 5 US service members in a training accident in the Mediterranean late Friday evening," US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin said yesterday.
