“Georgia and Azerbaijan have been in close contact for many years. We are friends and allies, and our peoples are bound by brotherly ties,” said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as he made a press statement following his meeting with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili in Gabala.
The head of state said: “All issues discussed have one goal – to deepen bilateral cooperation and take all necessary steps for the future of our peoples. Many important issues have been discussed today, and we will build our future activities on the basis of the agreements reached.”
