Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used the phrase "Our plan is to ensure the collapse of the Iranian regime" in his newly announced security doctrine.
The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that Benjamin Netanyahu has unveiled a new security doctrine. Netanyahu stated that Iran's 'nuclear ambitions' are among the biggest threats to Israel, and said that 'the overthrow of the Iranian regime' is one of their main objectives. Netanyahu said, "Our plan is a very comprehensive and determined plan to ensure the regime's collapse. This is the instruction I have given to all security institutions."
Regarding Gaza, Netanyahu claimed that he would not allow the region's reconstruction unless Hamas is disarmed. He also noted that Hezbollah in Lebanon should be disarmed by the Beirut administration, saying, "Otherwise, we will do the job ourselves in Gaza and Lebanon."
Netanyahu mentioned that they have limited time until U.S. President Donald Trump's term ends, stating, "In two years, a president who adopts a hostile attitude towards Israel could come to power in Washington. We must do everything we can during these two years."
