US Issues Warning to Its Citizens in the Middle East
The US Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has called on American citizens in the Middle East to be cautious.

In a notice published on the website of the United States Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), it was stated that the conflicts have the potential to rapidly spread beyond the current region, and citizens were advised to be prepared for possible flight cancellations, airspace closures, and disruptions in travel. The statement noted that attacks by Iran-backed Houthis on civilian airports and other critical infrastructure in Saudi Arabia have led to civilian casualties and significant disruptions in travel.

The statement urged citizens to avoid demonstrations and large gatherings, to follow the instructions of local authorities, and to be cautious in places known to be associated with the US. It included the warning that "Iran and groups supporting Iran may target locations associated with the US and Americans anywhere in the world, including US companies and other organizations."
