Trump: It's time for Zelenskiy to hand over negotiations to someone else
US President Donald Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is not willing to make a deal with Moscow, saying, “Perhaps it is time for Zelenskiy to hand over the negotiations to someone else.”
US President Donald Trump made a statement on current issues as he left the White House for an election rally in Kansas. Expressing his strong desire for the end of the Russia-Ukraine War and stating that they are conducting negotiations with Moscow, Trump noted that Russia is more willing to make a deal. Trump said, “Perhaps it is time for Zelenskiy to hand over the negotiations to someone else. Zelenskiy is uncomfortable with the diesel agreement we made with Russia. He should have resolved this war long ago. If he had listened to me, he would have made a good deal a long time ago and 1 million people would still be living in his country.”
Trump also mentioned that they have a good dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Iran, saying, “Putin is not touching Iran and that is a good thing because we are attacking Iran very harshly both economically and militarily.”
Emphasizing that he views positively the trilateral meeting he will attend in China in November with Russian President Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, Trump said, “If Putin and Xi want to meet in a trilateral meeting, I would like to do it in China.”
