Ukrainian President Zelensky Meets with US Secretary of State Rubio

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared details of his phone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a statement on his social media account. Zelensky noted that the meeting was focused on substantial and important topics, expressing gratitude for Rubio's readiness to help and his clear stance.

Highlighting the key topics discussed, Zelensky said, “Firstly, the ballistic missile defense systems needed to protect lives. Secondly, the early warning systems crucial against Russian ballistic missile attacks. Thirdly, the situation regarding Starlink/Starshield that needs to be reestablished. Of course, all these are happening against the backdrop of our diplomatic efforts to end this terrible war and the continuous killing of people.”

Zelensky stated that they agreed to get in touch again soon for a status update and thanked the Americans who support fair approaches.
