President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov received Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized the special nature of the allied relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan. He noted the importance of the agreements reached, including the Treaty on Allied Relations signed during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Kyrgyzstan in July this year, for the further development of ties between the two countries.
Sahiba Gafarova conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to President Sadyr Zhaparov.
Noting the dynamic development of bilateral relations, including interparliamentary ties, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan in various areas, including trade and economic relations, investment, energy and transport.
