In a post shared on the Ministry of National Defense's social media account, it was stated, "Strong at sea, effective in NATO! NATO's Enhanced Vigilance Activity (eVA) Neptune Strike 2026/4 (NEST 26/4) is being conducted in the North Sea, Adriatic Sea, and Ionian Sea between October 16-21, 2026. The Media and Distinguished Observer Day of the activity, which the Anatolian Naval Task Group participated in, was held on October 19, 2026, off the coast of Albania, with the participation of local and foreign press on TCG Anadolu. The task group included the TCG Anadolu multi-purpose amphibious ship, TCG Gaziantep frigate, TCG Gür submarine, 3 TB-3 UAVs, and 1 Battalion Landing Force."
