Saying that the war with Iran will end very soon, Trump stated, “Oil prices will drop soon and everyone will be pleased. If we wanted, we could withdraw from there right now and we would have done a great job, but that is not enough for me.”
In his assessment of the events in France, Trump claimed that the source of the problem was 'immigrants'. Stating that he had warned French President Emmanuel Macron many times before on this issue, Trump conveyed that irregular immigrants were coming to France and Europe from many countries in large numbers. Trump said, “The events in France are not about education, they are about immigrants. Macron should have closed the country's borders long ago. I find the description of the events as 'uprising' insufficient. I have never seen anything like this in France. This is not a small uprising, it is like a full-fledged revolution. Immigrants in Europe should be expelled from the countries they are in, otherwise there will be no such thing as the European Union.”
US President Trump also made a statement regarding Russia and Ukraine. Emphasizing that an agreement should now be reached between Russia and Ukraine, Trump stated that Moscow was more willing to make an agreement. Trump said, “We want Zelensky to make an agreement now. During our conversation in the Oval Office two years ago, he could have made an agreement. I have helped Ukraine a lot until now, but it is time to end this war and prevent those young people from being killed. If Zelensky does not take steps to end the war, the situation will get worse. The US has spent a fortune on Ukraine, and Europe has spent a fortune as well. Europe is tired of this now.”
Emphasizing that Russia is 'a giant' compared to Ukraine, Trump said, “I think Russia wants to settle this matter now.”
