It was announced that the administration of President Donald Trump in the U.S. has canceled over 300,000 visas since taking office.
U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Mora Namdar shared a post on her social media account, quoting the White House's social media message: ‘The Trump administration has canceled visas at a faster pace and in greater numbers than any administration in history. There is absolutely zero tolerance if foreign nationals with visas violate laws or threaten national security.’ Namdar added to this message, “Over 300,000 visas have been canceled and this number continues to grow. Visa holders must respect American laws, otherwise, they will lose the privilege of traveling to the U.S.”
