EU–Azerbaijan Business Forum kicks off in Baku

The EU–Azerbaijan Business Forum, entitled “Bridging Corridors: Connectivity and Infrastructure,” has kicked off in Baku.

The event coincides with the 30th anniversary of the partnership between the European Union (EU) and Azerbaijan, as well as the 10th anniversary of the EU–Azerbaijan Business Forum.

The forum will address issues related to strengthening EU–Azerbaijan economic cooperation, promoting regional trade and investment, and enhancing connectivity in transport and infrastructure.

The event will feature high-level discussions, thematic sessions and meetings aimed at fostering business contacts, bringing together representatives from both the public and private sectors.

The forum will also see the presentation of the EU Business Climate Report in Azerbaijan 2025–2026, based on a survey conducted among European businesses between January and July 2026.

A research report entitled “Developing the Trade Sector in Azerbaijan: Policies, Limits and Opportunities” will also be presented.

The report examines the development of Azerbaijan’s trade sector, existing constraints and opportunities to enhance economic cooperation.
