Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a US-Ukraine-Russia trilateral meeting will be held in November.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced in a written statement on his social media account that he had provided an assessment to the national media regarding the Russia-Ukraine War. Speaking about the efforts to restart trilateral meetings involving the US, Russia, and Ukraine in November to end the war, Zelensky said, “We are ready for trilateral meetings of technical groups that should yield concrete results.”
Emphasizing that the trilateral negotiations must yield results, Zelensky noted the need for strong security guarantees. Zelensky stated, “The limitation of our army and Ukraine's neutrality are not open to discussion. The issue of territory is a red line that can only be discussed at the leaders' level. First and foremost, everyone must understand that we are not exchanging anything for anything. If the issue is about territory, it should be discussed at the leaders' level. Other issues should be discussed at the technical groups' level. So, all these can be discussed in November.”
