Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister: Turkish Investment Fund holds strategic regional importance

“The establishment of the Turkish Investment Fund is of strategic importance for supporting joint investment initiatives in the region and expanding financial instruments,” said Ali Asadov, Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister, during the 2nd Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum held in Baku.

He emphasized that a key aspect of Azerbaijan-Türkiye cooperation is the coordination of activities within international and regional organizations, highlighting the productive collaboration within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

“We discussed prospects for cooperation in priority economic areas such as trade, investment, transport, energy, and agriculture, along with other issues, during the 1st Meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice Presidents of OTS member states held in Bishkek. Azerbaijan is set to host the second meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice Presidents in the newly established format in 2026,” Prime Minister Asadov noted.
