Netanyahu: Time to End US Financial and Military Aid to Israel

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in an interview with the American press that Iran is currently at its 'weakest state' due to joint attacks by the US and Israel. Netanyahu claimed that they have destroyed many facilities that produce weapons and sustain Iran's economy, and that they, along with the US, continue to exert pressure and control over Iran, particularly through the naval blockade imposed on the Strait of Hormuz.

Netanyahu noted that they want to reduce the US's annual financial support of 3.8 billion dollars to Israel and the 'financial component of military cooperation' to zero. Netanyahu said, "Our economy is booming. After three years of war, our money is stronger than it has been in the last 50 years, maybe even longer. Israel has a giant high-tech economy. I think it's time, with an agreed-upon program, to end American military aid and transition from aid to partnership."
