The European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, made a post on her social media account during the EU Foreign Ministers Meeting held in Brussels. Kallas stated that the EU foreign ministers also agreed on new sanctions against prominent figures of Hamas, saying, "The ministers approved the imposition of sanctions on Israeli settlers due to violence against Palestinians."
Kallas also noted that 'it is time to move from a period of stagnation to a period of concrete steps' and that extremism and violence have consequences.
