Iranian President Mesud Pezeşkiyan said, “We will adhere to an agreement beneficial to the Iranian people.”
In a statement from the Iranian Presidency, it was reported that President Mesud Pezeşkiyan met with a group of security officials in the capital, Tehran. In his statement here, Pezeşkiyan emphasized that the 'victory' achieved against the US and Israel should be complemented with diplomatic steps that will protect the interests of the people, stating that this is a rational approach.
Pezeşkiyan noted that Iran does not trust the enemy but is open to negotiations based on the protection of national interests and the country's honor, using the expression, “We will adhere to an agreement beneficial to the Iranian people.”
