UN adopts resolution calling for an end to occupation in Palestine and a two-state solution
It has been reported that the United Nations adopted a draft resolution calling for an end to Israel's post-1967 occupation and supporting a two-state solution.

The United Nations (UN) General Assembly adopted a resolution reaffirming the UN's responsibility towards Palestine, calling for an end to Israel's post-1967 occupation and supporting a two-state solution. The draft, prepared by Djibouti, Jordan, Mauritania, Qatar, Senegal, and Palestine, was put to a vote in the UN General Assembly. In the vote on the draft titled 'Peaceful resolution of the Palestinian question', 151 member countries voted 'yes', while 11 countries, including Israel and the USA, voted 'no'. It was noted that 11 countries abstained from the vote.
