Double Achievement at Bodrum Rally by Turkey's First Disabled Female Rally Driver
Kübra Denizci Keskin, Turkey's first disabled female driver, secured second place in both her category and the women's drivers' classification at the Bodrum Rally.
The 2026 season of motorsports, which began with the Aegean Rally held in Muğla, continued with the Bodrum Rally held again in Muğla from April 30 to May 2. Kübra Denizci Keskin, who suffered a spinal cord injury after an accident in 2004 but continued her education to complete two master's degrees and started her professional career by obtaining a rally license in 2022, also finished her first race with a ranking. Competing for championships on both Turkish and European tracks in the new season, Kübra Denizci Keskin drew attention with her consistent and controlled performance on challenging courses, winning double trophies by finishing second in both her category and the women's drivers' classification. Keskin, who also continues her role at the Osmangazi Municipality Directorate of Writing Affairs in Bursa, will represent Turkey in the European Rally Championship stages to be held in Italy and the Czech Republic in July and August.
The excitement of the championship in the 2026 motorsports season will continue in August. The steering wheels will turn in Nevşehir for the Cappadocia Rally on August 22-23. As the season approaches its final bend, the Eskişehir Rally will be held on September 19-20, the Kocaeli Rally on October 17-18, and the championship will conclude with the Istanbul Rally on November 14-15.
